SABBATKA (Subotica, RS) ******************** Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Mihalj Sich (vocals, bassoon) David Sich (bass, backing vocals) Neven Tili (drums, backing vocals) Nikola Begovic (guitar, backing vocals) Sabbatka is a hard rock band from Subotica, Serbia. The band gathered in May 2006 and it was called "Black Sabbatka" (the original band name was a joke because Hungarian name for Subotica is Sabbatka). They started playing in local bars as a cover band, but a year later they wrote and recorded their first DEMO "White Maiden". Since then the band has been fully dedicated to writing their own material. Sabbatka has not only done gigs at local bars but they have also performed at many festivals in Serbia: Tribute Hits, GBOB Challenge 08, Radio 202, CMOK fest (winners), Rat bendova etc. myspace.com/sabbatka twitter.com/#!/sabbatka
